Here's the thing about the hair. It has finally gotten to a length I like since I cut it off to my chin. I've been debating revisting the cute bob I had then. Opinions I've received on that have ranged from "do it" to "oh no, not again." But I think I've come to the conclusion that cutting off that much isn't the way to go this time around.
So, I think I'm all about the cutting it right below shoulder length. Still long enough but not the current straggly mess it is.

And the color issue is that no matter what I do, I end up with bleached out hair by the end of the summer. Come winter time, all my roots grow out. I'm sure that there are people out there who thought to themselves that I really needed to go have my roots done. But what's interesting now is that my roots are bleaching out in the summer sun, but the ends are going to the white blond spectrum because it's so long. So what I really want is for the blond ends to say good bye. Will the haircut do that I wonder?

I've made plans to go see Betty and have her work her magic. So, I'll mentally be holding your hand as she chops.
