nostalgic

I'm in a nostalgic mood. I have stuff to do, but what I want to do is pull out old yearbooks and reminisce.
I sat down and pulled up my high school reunion website and it hasn't been updated since 2002. Which sucks because everything but the pictures and the front page were pulled down.

*sigh*

I guess it's back to work.

And everybody thought I was crazy

How many of my friends and family shook their heads in "it's another one of Dana's crazy ideas" when I stopped eating wheat products 4 years ago? I can count on one hand with fingers left over the number of people who didn't think I was insane. So now I read an article about gluten-free going mainstream. Finally. However I do have a moment of wondering if this is another band wagon for some folks. I won't get on my soapbox about food allergies and processed food. I'm glad that getting gluten free food will be a lot easier. I thought finding gluten free food would be a lot easier out here in health concious California. I was wrong. The thing here is organic. Hopefully, I'll get less blank stares when I talk about Celiac disease and wheat allergies.

Here's the link for Gluten Free goes Mainstream if you want to read more.
