The challenge is difficult as I don't own a sewing machine. I actually helped make a skirt when I was 11 years old, but since then I haven't really been near a sewing machine. I suppose I could ask the fiancé/husband to get me one :oP

I actually didn't start out in the Netherlands as a teacher. I was 15 when I moved here, so unless I was a child genius or a "Doogy Houser" type person, I doubt I was teaching at that age ;o) Incidentally, I came here because I have family out here: a blood cousin who is Italian married to a Dutch man of Indonesian descent. Teaching came up when I was in my third year at university and I had to make some choices as to what I wanted to do once I got my Master's.
