OK, I know it's belated. I actually have a stack of birthday cards that last week I thought to myself "I'll mail them out on Monday." For some reason it never occured to me that all the February birthdays were this week. So while I'm at it I'll also send out birthday happiness to my mom, my dad, Amanda, Fleda, and Ashley. Did I miss anybody?

I still owe you grits. I actually have the grits in my possession, I just haven't had a chance to get anywhere that can mail them before closing in the past two weeks! I'm currently aiming for Monday afternoon. I'll let you know how that works out.

Wouldn't it be nice if the world worked on our schedule and not on theirs? It would make things so much simpler.
