Watch Style Network Saturday at 10 pm

Ooooooh, I'm using names. I told myself I wouldn't, but this is important.

Style Network has a show called Diary of an Affair which is on Saturdays at 10 p.m. EST.

My "not so aspiring actor anymore" friend Shane landed a lead roll on Diary of an Affair as a video game obsessed husband who is cheated on.

This is very exciting because this won't be another History Channel war documentary. OK, he's done more than that, but the last thing I saw was the war documentary and I can only take so much blowing up of things and people.

You're evil. ;)

You're going to make me watch the Style Network again. I was still trying to recover from the oddity of what I saw on Fashion Trance the other night. This sounds interesting, though.

I know how it is watching random shows to catch people you know; one of my classmates from high school is trying to make it in the acting world, so I try to catch him on TV whenever I know he's gotten a part. Two other people I knew from school have done quite well, though - Emily Proctor (CSI: Miami) and Michael C. Hall (HBO's Six Feet Under).

I promise, it's only this once and I'm not asking you to watch the countless war reenactments on The History Channel. Or the really bad rendition of Ibsens' A Doll's House. I think I may still have nightmares from that one.

It's just nice to be supportive. And even nicer when someone "makes" it. Shane has done a lot of indie stuff and a lot of NY theatre, so for me I'm watching what happens now since the move to L.A.

And I didn't know that Emily Proctor was from NC! She's my favorite on CSI: Miami.
