I totally hear you on that. I also get very frustrated at not getting mail from people I send mail to about every two weeks or so, just so they have something besides a bill in their mailbox!
My grandma also sends thank you notes for cards. And she usually puts a check inside the Thank You. I don't know if that's to bribe me to keep sending mail...but it sure does work that way!! ;)
