This is how it works: Comment on this entry and get a letter, if you want a letter.
Write ten words beginning with that letter, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why.
wickedcricket, gave me "S" and I'm going to try and avoid the first "S" word that comes to mind. If all else fails, I'll use that word last.
1. Sugar - None of that fake stuff for me, I like my sugar real. Tea with sugar, coffee with sugar, sugared yogurt, I even enjoy chewing on sugar cane when I can find it at the Bowl.
2. Sushi - In my top 10 favorite foods. Who would have thought a southern girl like me would vote for a sushi dinner before fried chicken.
3. Southern - me 100%; Seriously, there is some How Southern are You quiz floating around the internet that I score 100% everytime I take it. I am that southern.
4. Serious - I'd like to be less serious all the time.
5. Shake - name of a band that I used to follow religiously.
6. Shag - The dance version of shagging, not the "get your mind out of the gutter
curefreak" kind. I love shagging. My friend Warren and I used to push people out of the way to shag during happy hour. I've got very fond memories of happy hour even thought Warren can't dance worth a lick.
7. Syphillis - That one is a two-parter. 1) My good friend Fleda and I were in the same physics class during high school. Because the teacher was a floater, our class was held in Ms. Efird's anatomy room which meant she had nasty things in jars and books with disgusting pictures. Somewhere I have a picture of Fleda with a HORRIFIED look on her face looking at pictures of syphillis symptoms. 2) Syphillis was one of my favorite diseases to talk about when I worked the hotline.
8. Shep - my favorite ex
9. Sailing - one of the things that I want to learn how to do
10. And because I can't think of anything else to avoid using this one - Sex - I don't think that one needs explanation. Oh, all right, I really liked working in an environment where you got to talk about sex all day. People should talk about sex more often.

And that made my pissy pissed off day much better.
Finally at 6 p.m.
I wonder how this list would sound as a mix?
Now I'll go listen to Guster sing every song in "meow"s.

Mar. 24th, 2006 06:00 pm| Culinary: | French Fries | A vehicle for the ketchup. |
| Literary: | trashy romance novels | Sometimes I don't want to think when I read. |
| Audiovisual: | Any reality TV, especially one with celebrities. | I like watching other people do stupid stuff. And sometimes it's inspirational. |
| Musical: | bubblegum pop | fun to sing, fun to dance to and the lyrics have no meaning |
| Celebrity: | Vincent D'Onofrio | I'm not going to embarrass myself by explaining that one. |
Now I tag:
whoever wants to do it.
to complete this same Quiz, Its HERE.
A definite time waster. Thank you for giving me something to do with my time

D- You have trouble trusting people.
A- You always want some action
N- you can be very "FUN" (in Bed)
A- You always want some action
The first one is definitely true. I guess the last three explains why I'm tired all the time.
Ha Ha! I shouldn't even go there.

Dec. 7th, 2005 10:10 amFirst line of first entry for each month in '05. Play if you want.
Apparently I had no life the first 5 months of the year because there are no posts.
June: I'm quite prolific with pen and paper.
July: Your life path number is 11.
August: My old boss is in SF this week for the HIV community planning conference.
September: I really need to come up with a title so I can talk about my crazy family.
October: Bella really believes that no one knows she's behind the bathroom door.
November: Australia was awesome!
December: I'm just sitting here in a hotel in Greenville, SC trying to maintain an internet connection.
Obviously I still need to get a life.

Get to know your friends meme
Sep. 25th, 2005 11:50 pmThis was actually emailed to me from my friend HACB, I decided to post it.
If I haven't stated before, I'm going to make it official now - I don't tag. No one should feel obligated to complete a meme because they were tagged. If you do, great. If you don't, that's great too.

Seriously, I like the "get to know your friends better" lists. Even though some people I've know 20 billion years, I always like to read the new comments.
( Twenty Random Things about Me )
Now I'm going to go be sweet and give RTL a pedicure.
