For anyone who wasted their time watching Diary of an Affair on Saturday night, let me just say - I'm sorry.

1. Shane wasn't on the 10 p.m. show.
2. I don't think I want to watch Shane even acting like he's getting hot and heavy with someone.
3. I didn't know I was subjecting anyone else to that.
4. I understand why the show is on Style Network.

OK, I don't feel bad saying it now: I caught about 5 minutes and couldn't force myself to watch any more. ;)

I talked to Shane this afternoon and complained. I wish I saved my IM with him. He was actually really funny talking about how bad the show is. But hey, it paid.

Oh, no disrespect to Shane for taking the part. It was an acting gig. It was just... the show. After I couldn't watch any more (well, I left the TV on), I came over to my desk and looked it up online. And read a transcript of another show. It was far more palatable that way. For some reason, it just squicked me out to watch it.

I don't think I expected it to be that Jerry Springer-ish. RTL and I sat through 2 episodes gritting our teeth.
