A moment of tribute and celebration for Anne Bancroft.

Her death is a downer on this gloomy rainy day in what is suppose to be sunny California.

The happy notes for the day are an empty plant bin and RTL picked out her own clothes to wear today. Three days straight! This could also have a lot to do with the fact that I've forced her to purge the closet. How many times did I hear " I forgot I had that" during the process. Now I just have to prevent a huge influx of new apparel for a couple of months.

I'm looking forward to the next Harry Potter book and movie installment. Still more than a month away for both, however I won't be lined up waiting for the bookstore to open at midnight and nope, I haven't pre-ordered anything.

I need to call my dear friend F and see how the baby is doing. It's just a little difficult with the time change and I don't want to call when the baby is sleeping or eating.
I need to call home as well.

And if anybody wants Dexter, well, I'm willing to send him to a home that is willing to feed him toilet paper, preferably off the roll. He has no brand preference.
You laugh all you want because you don't have to live with it. I'm tired of getting up in the morning and finding the house tp-ed inside. He's about to start sleeping in the crate again instead of his nice cushy bed. Although, I do have to laugh because he hides bits of toilet paper the way most dogs hide bones. Don't tell him that though.

I will happily give everyone my top 5 songs. However, either I'm lame or the majority of my friends are really lame because sadly, I've run out of friends to tag who haven't already been tagged. You know who who are and why you are, so don't complain. Nyeh! Wimps!

1. Jump Little Children - Not Today
2. Jump Little Children - Easter Parade --So I'm allotting two spaces to Jump because it was really hard to choose. I could have just said anything by Jump, but that would have been taking the easy way out. I LOVE JLC!!!!!! Easter Parade is just a plain fun song that reminds me of high school and a dear friend of mine. Not Today reminds me of, well, me.
3. Nouvelle Vague - Too Drunk to F*ck - -I'm really into Nouvelle Vague right now, but there's just something about hearing this Dead Kennedy's song sung by a French chanteuse a la bossa nova. You think it won't work, but curiously it does.
4. Nikki Meets the Hibachi - Song -- Discovered at Violent Femmes concert in 91, thought they were the Indigo Girls until I got close enough to the stage to see them. The entire album is wonderful, but this particular song makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
5. Weedeater - their version of Southern Cross -- Yes, I like the Crosby, Stills and Nash version, yet I do enjoy this gritty sludgey version.

I'm seeing a theme here of song covers performed in a completely opposite style. And also that all but one choice is from NC. And that I'll probably never find the majority of them playing at SBC Park or the HP Pavillion. If you want to check out my favs, you can find all but Nikki Meets the Hibachi at the iTunes music store. For Nikki, you'll have to talk to me.

For my final performance I tag all of my lame wimpy friends who read my journal but have so far refused to get their own and be my friend.
You know who you are and I expect emails or GASP! a new friend.
