Those kind of days
Jul. 11th, 2005 01:45 pmI've got two observations about "those kind of days"
First - The weather today is perfect. It's nice and warm but no so hot that you need to crawl inside the freezer just to cool off. This is part of the reason we moved to California. Blue skies, breeze off the ocean and no chance of rain. It's a great day. And I'm stuck inside cleaning up all the weekend projects. Maybe a bike ride later as a reward.
Second observation - Somehow I keep getting amazed by the musical artist that iTunes pops up with in Party Shuffle mode. Stuff that I didn't know we had in the cd collection. Today it was Bruce Springsteen. I was digging a song, but didn't recognize where it was from - I figured it was from a soundtrack - nope, The Ghost of Tom Joad. Huh? I knew we had the self-titled album, but somewhere we've picked up this album. And I know when I ask RTL later about it, she's going to say "it's got to be yours." But you know what - I don't know what she buys at Amoeba half the time. There's just no telling.
