My Tip of the Day

If you are like me and have a fascination for scouring flea markets, thrift stores and swap shops for pretty dishes, be wary of putting them in the microwave.

Truthfully, I should have known better. What I thought was just "gold" detailing was really gold detailing. Ooops. The dish is ok and the microwave is ok, but I don't think I'll try that again.

If in doubt about your pretties, don't nuke them.

Although, it does make pretty sparks in the microwave.

Ending on a good note

Since I've ranted and used most of the words in my vocabulary, I thought I would try to end today on a good note with something that makes me happy.

It makes me happy to know that as soon as I crawl into bed and call the cat, she will come running and curl up next to me.
