Weekend Recap

Busy busy weekend and didn't do squat. Oh, I did clean the house and made sure all of Ronette's work clothes are clean for this week. I still need to finish my mother's day gift so I can mail it. Maybe I'll do that this afternoon.

Last night was a late night. We went to the last Sunday night dinner at John & Carl's. The offers for their house were due on Wednesday and they are now officially in the "Sale Pending" stage. Their incredibly short closing is 15 days plus 6 for moving. Really fast, but given that John has been working in Seattle for a month already, it makes sense. So sad to see them go. On the other hand, I think that when/if we sell this house, we are going to use their realtor.

I had great fun walking around taking drink orders. After my 2nd trip, Carl gave me a tip glass and stuck some dollar bills in it. It was enough incentive that I made a couple of bucks. I didn't even have to put on a short skirt.

And now my incentive is to go to the kitchen and find some breakfast. After that, I've got a list of things to do. I'll check back in later.

Go figure?

The doorbell had decided to stop working, again.
I had crawled under the house to fix it, again.
It wouldn't fix this time around.
I gave up because it annoyed me.
The doorbell decides today that it will work.
Go figure.
