School's Out for Summah!

School must be out as I just had the enjoyment of watching a group of boys attempt to toss a pair of Chucks up on the phone line. Might I add, a perfectly good pair of Chucks. Anyway after about 15 minutes and who knows how many tries, I now have a pair of black Chucks hanging on the phone line in front of my house. Great, isn't there an urban legend that the shoes signify what kind of drugs you can get wherever they are hanging?

Let's blame it on Ronette

So I bought something that was seen in an infomercial - a Swivel Sweeper. I blame it on Ronette because she's the one that really wanted one. However, I'm sold. It's not for deep cleaning or anything too strenuous, but as a broom it's better. No more dirt lines because not everything would go into the dustpan, it all gets swept away. And even better is the fact that it doesn't strain my back. So if anyone was wondering, it's not a substitute for a good vacuuming, but for picking up the everyday hairballs and dustbunnies it does work very well.
