My Tip of the Day

If you are like me and have a fascination for scouring flea markets, thrift stores and swap shops for pretty dishes, be wary of putting them in the microwave.

Truthfully, I should have known better. What I thought was just "gold" detailing was really gold detailing. Ooops. The dish is ok and the microwave is ok, but I don't think I'll try that again.

If in doubt about your pretties, don't nuke them.

Although, it does make pretty sparks in the microwave.

I like putting alluminium foil in the microwave and having my own firworks display. then again I regularly google the word google, so I am far from normal or a good example ;)
