Aug. 17th, 2005 03:01 pmOK I'm having a lazy day and am reading a book. I've got the television on in the background and I'm listening to MTV. We won't get into why I'm listening/watching MTV but I've just watched my first episode of TRL - just because it was on and I was too lazy to change the channel.
The Find:
They just did this 30 second spot on a group called Young @ Heart Chorus.
You'll have to read the story if you're interested but it's a chorus of people who are over 70. They don't sing the traditional choral songs, they sing rock classics and current hits. TRL was highlighting their rendition of Hey Ya. It would be a trip to have an album of them performing. You can check out a few MP3s on the site like Stairway to Heaven, Whip It and Staying Alive.
