Wow! and a little scary too

Google the great search engine (don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain) released today Google Blog Search.
All you have to do is type in something to search for and *!BAM!*, you can see where people have posted about the search word.

Kind of cool.
A little bit scary.
I found myself on the first page searching for one of my interests.
I may be a little creeped out.
I may be typing in more words to see what I find.

Flat out unenthused

About my birthday that is.

I love my birthday. It's one of the happiest times of the year. It's a celebration of another year having my id checked to buy booze, cigarettes and other magical age purchases. Hell, it's a plain out celebratory joyful event. And this year should be like any other. Except this year I would like to see the day just pass into oblivion. Normally I would have started the countdown in the middle of August and as of September 1 would have been reminding everyone and their brother that it was my birthday month. Now, I don't want anybody to mention that my birthday is coming up. I believe my response has been "yeah, whatever" to more than one person so far.

Hopefully my birthday mood will improve before the actual day. Sorry for the Bleh! post.

The dog ate my homework!

Actually, it was a parking ticket.

Hmmmm, how do I explain this to the Berkely Police that I can't send them the citation # because my dog thought he would show them exactly what he thought about parking tickets. I still have a small portion of it, but not enough to provide a date or anything.

If it's not toilet paper, it's something else. I should buy fingernail files wholesale at this point. It doesn't matter how diligent I think I've been, he manages to find something. That's when I realize that he has sneaked off to his bed to chew in peace.

I'm going to have to start a touring show of all the things my dog has eaten. I may be regretting that I did not sell him at the yard sale when I had a chance.
