I've got to do it to, I can not stop the madness. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Seriously, I like the "get to know your friends better" lists. Even though some people I've know 20 billion years, I always like to read the new comments.
1. A friend used me for her Speech Pathology thesis because even though I had never lived anywhere but North Carolina at the time, she couldn't place my dialect.
2. I love Barbie. Not that I want to be Barbie, but Barbie got me through a lot of lonely moments as the only girl in a neighborhood of boys.
3. I still roller skate and refuse to learn how to roller blade.
4. I never wanted to be Clara or the Sugar Plum Fairy for my dance company's annual Nutcracker production, I wanted to do the Arabian dance. I ended up performing the parts I never wanted.
5. I think Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata is one of the loveliest sonatas ever written.
6. My hair has been cut above my shoulders once in my life.
7. I straightened my hair everyday in 7th grade because I wanted to be like everyone else.
8. I realized the summer between 7th and 8th grade that it wasn't worth it to be like everybody else.
9, I do not eat store bought cookies except for Grasshoppers.
10. I am extremely organized. It is the Virgo in me.
11. I wanted to be a witch when I grew up. Of course that was when I wasn't being an attorney or a prima ballerina.
12. Favorite food is tomato sandwiches on white bread (must be fresh and squishy), real mayo and a layer of ground pepper.
13. I adore french fries with an absurd amount of ketchup.
14. I love bridges.
15. Must live somewhere with easy access to water, preferably salt water.
16. Only like fine point pens.
17. Learned how to play pool from a bonafide hustler.
18. The first plant I ever planted to grow was a cactus.
19. In elementary school I read books during class. Until 4th grade it was because all the teachers were stupid. In 4th and 5th grade it was because I was bored.
20. And RTL just told me that there is nothing random about me, that everything has a purpose.
Now I'm going to go be sweet and give RTL a pedicure.

Date: 2005-09-12 03:32 pm (UTC)Chocolate covered mint cookies made by the Keebler elves. I have a hard time calling them biscuits because I think fluffy round things that you put butter and honey or molasses all over.

Date: 2005-09-13 03:20 pm (UTC)Now, I can send the Grasshoppers and Twix bars in the post, but they don't look too kindly on sending soda across international waters. I tried that, you have to lie and then hope the can/bottle doesn't explode.
