If the aspirin ever kicks in then I might not feel the need to bitch and moan.

I want someone to give me a reason, any fairly sane logical reason will do -
1. Why do people send out "Save the Date" cards for their upcoming nuptials?
and
2. Why is it etiquettely wrong to include wedding registry information in the actual invitation?

I don't see the point in Save The Date cards, actually. I didn't send them when I got married. I just sent out the invitations.

I guess you're not supposed to include your registry info in the invitation because it comes across as greedy? I have no idea. Maybe just having the guests at your special ceremony/day is supposed to be enough. However, it would help if you could because people do ask or take it upon themselves to assume that you want the ceramic purple dog statue. ;P

Exactly! I figure that if you know you are on the invitation list, then you probably already have the date marked on the calendar. Well, I've had the weddings I'm suppose to go to earmarked for months.

Sadly, I know people who got married just so they could register for stuff. It's just so different now than it was 20 or 30 years ago when you registered at the one department store that everyone went to. At least I can do all my searching on the internet and not drive all over the place to find the one where these people have registered.

Yep...all the weddings I have attended I knew the date and automatically saved it. :D

I knew someone who married too, for the presents. It didn't last. They went on their honeymoon and met other people.

Would you prefer a paddle or my hand? ;P

If the price is the same on both, I choose a paddle please, spiked preferably ;)
