Today the world is against me

1. I went grocery shopping and managed not to buy the #1 thing on my list.
2. I can't get a live person at PG & E, but my call is important to them.
3. RTL refuses to eat store bought yogurt anymore.
4. Does St. Ives make shampoo anymore? I've been to 4 stores looking for it. Nobody has it. Not even a place on the shelf, which means
5. I might have to go to Wal-mart. *shudders*
6. The dishwasher is making funny noises.
7. I can't find a water heater blanket anywhere that the city of Berkeley promises me is very easy to find and put on my water heater.
8. I'm trying to conserve gas, so I'm freezing because it's raining.
9. I want to buy clothes but I don't want to buy fat clothes.
10. So I've made a promise to myself of a shopping excursion when the scales read at least 20 pound lighter and the clothes in the closet are too big.
11. I'm sure there is lots more but my final complaint is why are grits so expensive on this side of the country when I can buy twice the size for half the price on the other side.

Edit: Let's add to that the fact I just decorated the dining room with granola thrown about.

Ugh! Not the dreaded Wal Mart! Isn't there a Lowes or Home Depot that might have one?

I relate to #9.
I am also planning something along those lines as your #10.

It is cold in our house today too. But I refuse to turn on the heat because PG&E's rate are too high.

Oh how I hate Walmart. I've managed to step foot in one only once in the past 3 years. That was by force. At this point, it is my last resort. I've been to Lowes, Home Depot, OSH and Ace Hardware. I haven't tried Cole's, but outlook not so good. I've searched the internet. And I've run out of places to look for the frickin' shampoo too.

I refuse to turn on the heat too. I'll just keep adding layers of clothes until it warms up outside. Now if the shivering will help with #10, things could be looking up.

I hate Wal Mart too. They have decent prices on things, but I hate a lot of the people shopping there. I swear, they shop with their entire family and grandparents who can hardly walk. Ok, that's rude of me, but it's true. (Happens in other stores as well, I know.)

That's what we do in our house... keep putting on more clothes. :D Hmmmm maybe the shivering CAN cause us to lose weight!!
