Since Ireland has now been moved to another time, where should we go in May/June?
Suggestions?
I suppose cost isn't really a factor. Well, it is sort of but not really.
I'm looking at Alaskan cruises or laying on a beach in Hawaii. The two things that we've decided we will do while we are on the west coast.
It will be high season in Europe, but who cares. Maybe something more exotic.

I feel the same way about cruises. The ports are great, the rest of the time, I feel like I'm just stuck on the ship. Although it is kind of neat to have your own personal butler bring you things in bed.

I've heard the same thing Dana has about Alaska - cruising the Inside Passage is supposedly one of the better ways to experience the area, especially if you can combine that with time spent inland on either side of the trip.

Australia is high on my personal list of places to visit. My brother-in-law spent 6 weeks there a couple of years ago and had a fantastic time. I'm jealous. :)

Australia is a pretty cool country, though being English, I have to say the place is ruined by all the Aussies *GRIN*.

I would love to check out Alaska. In actual fact I do, one day, want to have seen every country. I've been lucky so far, but there is still so much left to see.
