It's raining, raining, raining today.
I need some sunshine and warm weather.
And some motivation.
I have none today.
My brain has to think up an idea for dinner.
It ain't working too well.
It's kind of like opening the closet and telling yourself that you have nothing to wear.
That's the pantry and fridge right now. I have nothing to eat.
But for some reason, nothing else will fit on any of the shelves. Go figure.

No worms today. I could actually take post-weeding pictures if there is a break in the rain.

I'm also thinking about being mean and having the guy who is parked in front of my driveway towed.
That would be really mean.
But he wouldn't be parked in front of my driveway anymore.

Here's a question - more of that wedding etiquette stuff -
If I buy a gift and take it to a shower and I'm not planning on going to the wedding, do I have to buy another present?

Do you still have the toaster and does it still work?
If yes, then they did pretty well.

I have no idea what the cost will be per head. I just know how much money I've already spent and frankly, don't want to have to buy another gift. Our rule is more along the lines of how well we know you depends on how much we spend. If (in this case) we work together, then the gift will be in th $50 - 100 range depending on how much we like you. (We actually spent more money than planned) Friends, depending on how close we are, will probably be greater than $150, unless there is something on your registry less than $100 that speaks a "priceless" amount. Family is weird because we have family members that assume too much information in how much income we have. Like my cousin's wedding in February that I didn't attend because I could spend more money on a gift if I didn't buy a plane ticket. Apparently I'm on the sh*t list because I didn't spend enough money. I guess the $150 worth of glassware didn't make up for not being there.

Obviously, I'm over the wedding thing. Although, given the amount of money that I've shelled out for wedding gifts and being a frickin' bridesmaid I think I should have a wedding just to recoup.

The toaster died in a ball of smoke within 6 months. What made it worse was my Groomsman kept telling me how his toaster was so much better, as it was a Russel Hobbs. I kept reminding him, that it wasn't his, rather it was his label junkie boyfriend's toaster ;)

Toaster don't last. I'm on my 3rd one in 12 years. Wait, it could actually be my 4th. That being said, this is also my 4th mixer and 4th (or 5th) steam grill. They just don't make things like they used to.
