I find it interesting that I have no desire to donate money to my alma mater. None whatsoever. And I'd really like for the alumni association to stop calling me. I feel like I should care more. But I don't.
Whoops! Guess this is the wrong place to let them know where you are at.
I wouldn't do that. What annoys me is that the only time they know where I am is when they want money. Most of the other correspondence goes to my parent's. Of course, with two alumni in the house, whenever Ronette gets stuff, I wonder where my copy is and vice versa. Now that I think about it, it's the same way with APO stuff, either one of us or none of us get information.
Yeah! I think that's funny, too! As much as I hate getting it, if Greg gets something, I think 'Hey, where's mine?'
OK. Change of subject. This is partially related, because it has to do with me thinking about where you are. Feel up to giving a few travel pointers? Chris's (Greg's brother) former roommate is planning a visit to SF with her family (parents and younger, college-age sister) this summer. She recently posted about it in her journal. I'm betting you know enough about SF to answer some of her questions before she even anticipates them, because she's never been there. She's got some basic questions like: What are some non-sketchy areas to book hotels, or, What are some wineries in the area? Can I point her your way?
Oh. Oops. I didn't notice that. I suck. I bet she's got it locked because she recently had a smarmy ex-boyfriend-type track down her journal. How about I tell her to add you to her list so you can read it? If that's OK with you, of course.
