1. Getting back into sewing - Not that I completely quit, but I used to make/reconstruct a lot of clothes. Now I sew curtains and hem pants. But I've been laying on the bed eyeing a skirt R just bought and am thinking "hey! I can make that!". Thus feeling very inspired, I am committing to dusting off the sewing machine.

2. Officially replanting the vegetable garden - I realize that it is a bit too late in the season to start from seeds, but I am contemplating buying some mature plants and probably just doing a hefty container garden.

3. Actually writing the novel that I've had floating around - Just finished reading Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty and am feeling very inspired. This book was laugh out loud funny. I thought it would be a good read with the review on the back of the book that stated "Judy Blume meets Dorothy Parker." A quite accurate statement.

4. Applying to grad school - again. I guess if I can't publish my book, I'll need something to fall back on.

Got a couple of other things rattling around in the old brain, but I figure I'll start with a list of four and revise as necessary.

What kind of book did you write?

I haven't written it yet. I've had an idea kind of based on events and characters from high school that is in that Judy Blume genre. It's been rattling for awhile, but no attempt. Then I read Sloppy Firsts and have decided that maybe my idea isn't too far-fetched. When I finally start writing, I'll let you know.
