Does saying it in French make me un-American?

Hope everyone is having a great 4th!
Celebrate by taking a much needed nap.

Ha! The answer is "no". It made me laugh. And thrilled to know I've got back-up.

Now go talk some sense into my brother-in-law, who made this post on the 4th. I need your help ganging up on him. He is relentless in his hatred of all things French. It irks me to no end! Aargh.

I forgot about - french toast, french doors, and french laundry.

phrases such as - savoir faire and faux pas are off limits

no brie, cordon bleu, fondue

Gosh, there are tons of "French" things

Yeah, it really bugs me when he talks about adding songs to his band's repertoire. Gah.
