Why is it that when you have to fast for a blood test and aren't normally hungry at night that all of a sudden you could eat anything in the house?

hmm...the blood test fast does add to the craving, but for me, I could sit around the house from dinner on and have the munchies all night -- I think it's the sitting around, if I'm occupied it's not such a problem
