What part of "I live in the Pacific Northwest" does the weather not understand.
High today should be 104.
That sucks without A/C.
I'll be living downstairs today until I go to suck up A/C from the library.

Oh, that does suck. We didn't have AC in L.A. either, and it kept getting into high 90's/low 100s. Miserable.

Library. Movies. Ice cream. Sometimes I would just make an excuse to go to the grocery store, lol.

I went to the grocery store twice yesterday and wandered the aisles until I was asked that 1 time too many if I needed help. Thought it was probably a good idea to leave.

And I went to Home Depot this morning for some deck stuff and they have a huge sign at all of the entrances "No Air Conditioners"

Lol, that happened to me recently here (our A/C works, but not that great, esp when it gets past 100) so I was just walking up and down all the aisles too and like 3 people came over to ask if I needed help. I finally told the last one to tell security that my AC isn't working so well and that I'm just browsing. They left me alone after that.

Is it supposed to cool off anytime soon?

Weather reports say that it's suppose to be in the high 90s through the weekend and then cool off to the high 80s. We'll see. I'm just glad that Bonnie is still at board and train with A/C in the kennel.

The news keeps talking about the 5 day heat wave of 1981 where it stayed in the 80s. I just checked the thermometer in the house - upstairs is currently 89 and the attic fan never turned off last night. Usually it goes off by itself around 10/10:30. Thank goodness for the basement.
