I just trekked a few miles over Berkeley doing some errands. And I wore flip flops. Not the ideal walking shoe. Now my feet hurt. Normally I would have put on my trusty tennys, but since I have a big ass blister on my right heel I'm sticking with the open back shoes. Yes, I'm sure there are a few people out there who could run a marathon in flip flops, but definitely not me. I think it may be from a million years of ballet classes.
