Sugar Free Maple Syrup

How do you get sugar free maple syrup?
Put a maple tree on a sugar-free diet?

Is it like the "honey" that KFC serves? [which if you look at the ingredients list is something like water, high fructose corn syrup, some other stuff, and finally honey.]

I just looked it up and it's basically water sweetened with sugar substitute plus natural and/or artificial maple syrup flavors.
I think I'll stick with the real stuff.

Yeah, that's just wrong. The cafeteria at the hospital serves sugar-free regular syrup. They heat it up in a big chafing dish and you ladle it out onto your French toast as you go down the line. It doesn't have the right viscosity. It's nasty.

I feel worse putting the artificial stuff in my body than I do ingesting all the sugar from real Maple syrup. At least it's natural!
