I like this time of the year as summer turns in to Autumn. The leaves aren't quite ready to turn colors and fall but just about. If I were on the east coast, I'd be packing the car to drive up into the mountains for the weekend. I guess I could do that out here, but somehow it just doesn't seem like it would be the same.

I got up and went to the Bowl this morning. The smart thing I did was to get a parking spot before they opened. Good thing I did, I showed up 30 minutes early, 15 minutes before the doors opened the lot was FULL! This is the reason why I dread going to the Bowl as much as I love it.

Then I've spent most of the day up on the roof reading. Don't ask about all the other things that I should have been doing. I'll work on them later, maybe, if I feel like it.

I introduced RTL to the joys of the Berkeley Public Library yesterday. Got some books on Australia, some junk reading and RTL just about cleaned out the audiobooks. So I'm sitting here dumping them into iTunes so that she can have something to listen to on the plane next week.

I've started counting all the spiders in the backyard. All of a sudden everything is strung with spider webs. I need to pick lemons. I just don't want to play with the spiders to do so.

Other than that, it's been a lazy dazy day.

Sorry. Wasn't thinking when I was writing about the Bowl.
It's actually Berkeley Bowl and it is a non-chain supermarket/grocery. It is called Berkeley Bowl because it's first location was in the Berkeley Bowling Alley.

I guess you could bowl people over because it's always so crowded in there. You know, take a shopping buggy, aim and push it into a crowd of people. Points for every person that you knock down.

U2- I still haven't found what I'm looking for in my pants

There is a different way to shop???? The fun of shopping is turning it into a demolition derby. That, and putting things in people's carts. For example screaming annoying child gets lots of chocolate bars snuck into the cart and then you watch parents go crazy at the check out ;)

Shopping at the bowl is kind of demolition derby and live action Frogger.

I haven't tried to putting things in people's carts, but since most people park their carts and then run all over the store, that would be really easy. *horns growing longer*

I LOVE the Frogger analogy. I feel like I am playing Frogger everytime I cross the road at work. I may even have been known to make the noises of the game....but that is ONLY a maybe *GRIN*.
