Sep. 20th, 2005 09:01 am1. Your Livejournal username and what it means:
Embracing a negative comment that I've heard most of my life. I've taken back the power of the phrase.
2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your Livejournal represent who you actually are?
10, I really am this weird.
3. How much about your life do you post to LJ?
I'd like to say about 75%, but I'm a really private person, so there's a lot that no one sees. I also still keep a paper journal where I write down my uglier thoughts.
4. Is there anything you refuse to post about?
Nothing that I would out and out refuse to post about, it depends on how the mood strikes me what I will or will not post. Probably not my sex life though. I worked a hotline for a while and since I don't want to hear how other people are doing it anymore, I shouldn't feel free to let you know how I'm doing it.
5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
Somedays I think it's a 10, somedays I thinks it's a big fat 0. How does it average out? Who knows.
6. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
If I could get some of my friends to join, my email would be a lot easier to take care of.
7. What proportion of your posts are friends only?
1 out of every 4 or 5. It depends on the day and who I'm talking about.
8. What are your top five favorite interests on LJ?
I don't know. I had to cut down my interests because I had too many.
9. How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own?
Every so often, and I'm thinking about it.
10. How often do you respond to comment on other people's journals?
I try. Although I don't usually respond if I think someone is writing to get something off their chest. Of course, I will respond to those posts if it is about something that moves me or I can empathize with. I'm a fixer and a nuturer so I don't want to go overboard.
11. Do you prefer to write in your journal or read other journals?
equal
12. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument on LJ?
Yes, an argument. Not stalked or harrassed, unless I want to count I/he knows who. ;P
13. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
Not yet. But if I need to, I have no problems doing it.
14. Who are your four favorite LJ friends and why?
That's not a good question. I'd have to friends lock the post to four people that I'd have to pick at random. eeney meeny miney moe
15. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
Common interests, people I think I'd get along with, they make me laugh, fascinated by their icons . . .
16. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
I look first. I'm very cautious.
17. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
nothing in common, over the top drama in their posts, mostly nothing in common
18. Is your "significant other" on LJ
no, and doesn't know I have an LJ.
19. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
Yes, solely because I want to know if they are as nice/strange/evil/etc. (mostly nice) as they are on LJ.
