I've been found out!
Jun. 3rd, 2005 08:08 amAs Bella and I sit here in our early morning ritual - me in front of the computer checking email from every single account known to man and Bella lounged in my lap for her early morning nap - I discover that I've been found out. Thoughts about this - yay! and now I have to make sure I spell everything correctly. Oh, the drama!
No, not really that much drama, but it sort of explains why it took me 2 months to actually write something.
It does still feel a little weird to write in an open kind of forum. But even weirder to type thoughts. I think I may like ink and paper better. But I think my problem this morning is that I'm not feeling very creative or witty considering that I really need to get started on my To Do list.
Still reading - The Secret Life of Bees
Music obsession - music from 86- 91-ish
TV show - Why does summer programming suck so much? Thank goodness for DVRs and DVDs.

Date: 2005-06-03 06:10 pm (UTC)As for the 'open forum' aspect, it took me awhile to get used to that, too. The Good Doctor had an account loooong before I was interested in parading my life around on the internet. I still don't use my real name in conjunction with my journal, and it's only been recently that I've let Dr. M link to me in his... he's much more public with his personal info. Me, I just kinda like to keep to myself. I write mostly about personal stuff... the day-to-day drivel that I doubt many people find interesting, but then again... that's the kind of stuff I most like to read. :)
My audience is small - I mostly use my LJ to keep up with friends and family - so I figure they know what I'm up to anyway. Kinda takes the pressure off. And when I want to write about stuff I'd rather not have everyone see, I just use my "not family" or some other filter! It works out great.
