Quirky Berkeley
Mar. 23rd, 2006 05:19 pmI've been outside today weeding. As usual there is a ton of walking traffic down my street. Here are just a few of the conversations that I've caught snippets of today:
Two women pushing baby strollers - "The three of them just packed everything up and moved to Mexico. Mexico of all places! I don't know how anyone could ever live in Mexico."
Two high school boys - "I don't know what my moms was all about this morning. I mean, I took a shower and a shit . . ."
Two men - "Lately I've been thinking a lot about self-enlightenment"
I could condense the hour long phone call my neighbor had into about 5 sentences, but then you wouldn't get the effect of my listening to her say like, ya know, and OMG! repeatedly.

Date: 2006-03-25 01:45 am (UTC)That was pretty cool!
I thank you for the hugs, they are always much appreciated.
And nothing is ever insignificant if it matters to you.
I'll see if I can come up with something good and juicy to post.
